In a debate on BBC Radio Ulster Sunday Sequence, Catholic theologian Tina Beattie said that Atheist Ireland chairperson Michael Nugent was “verging on a very dangerous kind of dare I say almost European racism” in his analysis of Catholic demographics and its influence on Catholic fundamentalism.
