You can support Atheist Ireland’s activities including our campaigns, lobbying and education initiatives.

Before making a donation, please consider the legal restrictions on the types of donations we can accept.

Political Donations

Atheist Ireland complies with Ireland’s Standards in Public Office (SIPO) Commission. We are a registered Third Party under the Electoral Acts (1992-2012). Hence there are some legal  restrictions on types of donations we can accept for lobbying/political purposes.

If you wish to donate to these activities, consider that we can only accept the following in any one year.

  • Anonymous donations up to a limit of €100.
  • Cash donations up to a limit of €200 at a time.
  • Maximum aggregated donations up to a limit of €2,500.
  • We cannot accept any donations from individuals or organisations outside the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, unless the donation is from an Irish citizen resident overseas.
