What are your Reasons to Repeal the 8th Amendment?

Atheist Ireland have asked our members and supporters their Reasons to Repeal the 8th Amendment. We will publish these over the coming weeks.

“This amendment came in the same year I was born. I have far worse instances of my being personally impacted by it but I have no need to offer those here – see ‘In Her Shoes‘. I’m voting to repeal this barbarous legislation for the sake of my daughter and all her female friends because I could never be complicit in forcing her to stay pregnant against her will..and neither would you.”
