    The Irish language and atheism.

How do native Irish speakers greet each other without mentioning God and keeping the integrity of the language.?

@John: To avoid using “dia duit”, I go with good morning (“maidin mhaith”) and good afternoon/evening (“tráthnóna mhaith duit”). Granted, both are lifted from Béarlachas originally, but I know a number of other irreligious Irish speakers who use both and, in my own experience, people in Gaeltacht areas have come to accept them and even use them quite widely.
